Reassurance a la Rufus

On Rufus Wainwright:
"It's very reassuring that genius
doesn't just lie in madness and
drugs and dying young."
~ Bernadette Colomine
Friend & 'Prima Donna' co-librettist

from Washington Post review of the excellent documentary aired on the Sundance Channel

Of course, typical me, my fave parts of the show were the clips of his dad, Loudon Wainwright III (of Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road fame). I seem to recall I read somewhere that ole Loudon was part of one of the Beatles US tours ... and that our Brian flirted with him a wee bit. Well, the same sort of approach he attempted with Larry Kane. With the same results. ani rolleyes smiley
