FLASH! Before it's deleted by the bigwigs, the entire BOOTLEG version of Anthology is up on YouTube ~
~ It's called The Beatles Anthology Director's Cut ~ occasionally you find it on the black market in the form of ten (that's right, 10) DVD's, and it keeps getting banned by eBay every time they find someone is trying to sell copies.
The difference between the regular Anthology and the Director's Cut?
Well! This bootleg has more than twice as much material that was changed and deleted, from what Apple & the Threetles-Plus-Yoko picked over and chose to sell to the public. This director's cut is a copy of the first version that was submitted for their approval, and believe you me, the for-sale version that you own is all butchered up!
All the links to the videos on YouTube have been posted on { THIS BOARD } of the forum for your convenience.
Watch 'em as soon as you can, because I'll bet they won't be up for long!!!

I was fairly amused ~ not to mention flattered ~ this morning when I opened my daily "Tom Lehrer Google Alert" email and found the number one entry was a reference I posted yesterday, on our ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) tomlehrer Community, to an old anecdote written up in an Australian blog ~ which, ironically, I had discovered via yesterday's TL Google Alert ~

 Because we peons residing at the eppylover hovel are not blessed to receive any TV cable other than what Comcast calls "preferred basic" ~ no digital, no pay channels, nuthin' ~ I owe my eternal gratitude to carrotcaper2007 for hooking me up with the Penn & Teller vids on YouTube.
Therefore, for today's SS, my sweet religious flisters need not click ~ because for you the skeptical scientific truth would indeed seem quite what you'd call "blasphemy" ~ such a quaint term ~ and, as for finding humor therein? Also, I've always had a crush on Teller.
I did a tiny bit of innertubes research on him. "Teller" is his full legal name; no first or middle name, simply "Teller" ~ which is also what it says on his passport (he being one of the few allowed that luxury)! That's cool. I'd love to have "Christine" as my only name. (BTW, George Carlin despises the pretentiousness of people who go by one name, hahaa. Tough cookies, Carlin. We don't always agree.)
Also, I found their pre-Penn&Teller occupations very amusing in their contrast with each other and with their present occupations: What did P&T do before they started working together?
Penn worked as a juggler on the New Jersey boardwalk and attended Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Clown College.
Teller taught high school Latin in Lawrenceville, NJ.
